Making things happen

Just booked my flight to San Diego last night and I could not be more exited to spend the summer on the west coast of USA.

People say that everything happens for a reason and I totally agree with that saying. I think it was meant to be that I got in contact with such a wonderful privately owned clinic in Oceanside, California.

The clinic was awarded USA Veterinary Hospital of the year in 2011 and it is in fact amazing. The hospital staff has been so nice and helpful with everything regarding the externship. The owner even offered me to stay at his house with him and his wife where I could borrow one of the family bicycles. They have also offered my boyfriend Joakim to stay a few nights when he will visit me.

My dream has always been to open up my own Veterinary clinic someday. As the owner travels around the US giving lectures on veterinary management maybe I will learn a thing or two from him and his staff.

I fly from Stockholm to San Diego the 11th of July and start my 3 week externship a few days later. After my externship me and Joakim plan to hit the road to Vegas and L.A for 2 weeks.

Because of the nine hour time difference between Europe and California I decided to make this blog where people who are interested in my daily-day life, which at times is just simple and boring but sometimes also full of adventures, can follow my Oceanside Diaries.

Stay tuned for more info!
